DINE 4 A DIFFERENCE

On the evening of Thursday, November 9, 2017, Verona hosted a special dinner in honor of Dan Cooney and Vanya Citrano, two beautiful young people that we lost much too early to suicide.

As part of Verona’s commitment to suicide prevention and promotion of mental health and following on the heels of the Out of the Darkness Walk on October 22nd in Verona Park, we brought together four renowned chefs to raise money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Nationally and internationally recognized local chefs Floyd Cardoz, Ariane Duarte, Amanda Freitag and Carmen Quagliata pooled their culinary talents to create an unforgettable menu for a great cause.

The American Foundation for Suicide Awareness

AFSP is the leading national non-profit organization exclusively dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education & advocacy. The money raised will be directed back into resources for our community.
